Japanese – great dictionary, well worth the money. IMHO.

Japanese Phrases & Lessons – awesome application with tons of audio files (huge), kana, kanji, grammar, lessons and flashcards, tests and even stories! – getting better and better with time. If you only buy one application to study Japanese make it THIS ONE.

Human Japanese – yet another eBook with some extra like test and audio. Not as deep as above, but more systematic if that is what you need.

Japanese 101: Kansai Dialect – if you need it or feel a sympathy to this popular Japanese dialect.

Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N5 Vocabulary - if you want to compare yourself with some standard level.

Kana (Japanese Hiragana & Katakana) – a very simple, but “game like” kana tutor. A bit less boring than similar apps, but I could not find anything more fancy.

KanjiPop: Kanji Practice in a Fun Game – similar to above, “game like” for Kanji. Nice, but not too addictive.

There are many others, if you see something you like, please let me know (especially if it mix game and study or use “brain tech” to increase and improve memorization).



While all these applications are great and there are many more for Kanji study for example on Apple App Store, the key is to use them and learn every day of course.
