AT&T sucks with iPhone

Well... People were right. At&t sucks donkey ass. Main feature of
iPhone is Internet and when I want to brag to my friends from some
metropolitan cafe it never freaking works. I never managed to use
internet from downtown Seattle or Bellevue. It works some times when I
am alone, but if I pull it out to show off ... I normaly have to
say ... Ah... Sorry. That have to be fixed errrrrr!!!!

Philips dvp5982

Just picked up yet another great Philis DVD player in Costco. Quick
look at Amazon.com and now we can watch Anpanman from Japan on this
one as well. I did firmware upgrade from Philips web site just in
case. This player is for projector room. I have to see how well it
goes to 720p I want (it support 1080p),but my projector does not. Look
great so far!

Backward causality

If you pay attention, we have two almost identical posts : that is it.

We got one before clicking start button and it has tail cut and then we got a real one , when we actuality took a picture with iPhone.

Simply amazing.

I can only add that while machine we build is kind of slow, it look like that certain chemical substantiates can work out your perception and make a trip almost instant. That what some other researches claims, but this is a very dangerous area that I am not brave enough to give it a try: it can short circuit your brain and it is no good. :-)

So, we just move back to the future with a regular speed : 1 minute per minute :-)

Have a safe trip !

Back to the future

Launch!

Time Machine

We build our own time machine.
It is working very well and we travel into the future at comfortable
speed of 1 min

Time Machine

Time travel is way cool. That is a subject I like.

Here is some cool design to build Time Machine ( not one from Apple )

Make a Time Machine!

You'll need:

* A large box
* Zinc foil
* Electronic stuff, with dials and switches
* A clock Select a box large enough for you and your time-traveling supplies.

Cut a door in one side. Cover it completely, inside and out, with zinc foil. Put your electronics inside the time machine, and connect them to the interior layer of zinc foil. Don't worry too much about wiring diagrams - the design is a robust one, and will work just as well with the electronics in almost any configuration. Connect your clock to the electonics with some wire. Now you have a time machine. To use it, sit inside and close the door. Now wind the clock, and turn on the electronic stuff. The clock will show your progress into the future. When you've gone far enough, just open the door and exit the Time Machine. CAUTION: As presently designed, the Phoobia Time Machine can only be used to travel forward in time. Due to this limitation, you should not travel any great distance into the future, since there is currently no way to return. It is hoped that further research will overcome this limitation, as well as enabling the machine to travel faster through time.

I picked this up from this cool artical feedback :

http://cosmiclog.msnbc.msn.com/archive/2007/07/17/274531.aspx

That talk about

experiment in backward causality, ( A very common and proven phenomenon. Example : when your wife will kick your ass BEFORE you even think to land on coach with bottle of beer and munches. )

Check this out !

Actually, I was just making rocket out of big box with my kids. That is a cool idea !

We can now build a TIME MACHINE !

Woooo-Hoooo !

If you got Lazer engraver and not quite sure what to do with it : Cut a Cake.

http://www.instructables.com/id/EX669KO4NAEP286PPP/

Added this cool gadegt to my wish list :-)

It been 2 weeks with iPhone : my new gadget that occupied my time :-)

I still love it.

I still try to get most of it and organize things.

Here are some things that may be obvious for others , but took me some time to get right :-)

1) Old MAC with Motorola CPU had too many troubles to Sync, so I moved to new Windows PC and it worked well.

2) Getting Images from iPhone camera is actually easy : you just need to get Picasa or similar s/w that allow to get images "from camera". I got so used to copy images from mass storage that I forgot about this new interface :-)

3) You can get albums art from many places including amazon.com and "Stick" yourself in iTunes. While it sux, you can now have cool looking library on iPhone. Some albums do not want to show art so. I still do not know what course this glitch ( size ? old sync without art ?)

iPhone DO NOT have

1) Voice recording
2) Voice dealing
3) Save feature
4) Copy / Paste
5) Spell checker in notes
6) not all of YouTube can play or even search, but only part of it.
7) EGDE sux some times ;-)
8) No build in converter
9) No build in engeneering calculator

I discovered free podcast fro Language study and with FrenchMaidTV it is now on my iPhone :-)

My new iPhone have bugs :-) What would you expect ?

1) Google Map crash it some times
2) Safari crash some times
3) Sync goes to infinite loop and when I reboot it wipe iPhone ( "restore") so all new contacts are lost for example.

It is not that bad :-) but I hope Apple fix these and some ASAP.

iPhone is great so, see this cool video
