Some of you wonder how I look? Yes, there is a photograph on the right, but what is behind this cool shades? It is simple: I may be you twin brother - common geek :-) This well known clip may describe me very well (and may be applicable for you too - repost it if you like :-))

There are some minor differences of course: I have 20/20 vision and do not have Segway (very hard to get) :-):

I fall down on watching this one instead :

... but I am CEO of Pizza X Prize, hope this make it up for ya! :-)

I watched this old flick Gattaca on Netflix. Here is a short review. :-) Netflix have a Instant Browse feature and dump older staff there. It is mostly junk, but some are good movies.

If you do not have Netflix you can get it form Amazon "unboxed" for very very cheap: that the price anyone will pay for video, right ? :-)

You can order DVD if you like ...

or even this cool new Blue-Ray ( do not have it)

Ok, so, if cool Uma Thurman is not good enough reason for you to watch this Si-Fi flick... I will add that I like it and my wife liked it: and we have different taste on movies. Plot is not very sophisticated, but acting is good and "mood" is excellent.
You can almost feel the pain of "In-Valid" :-) It may be our scary future, so you'd better watch this one from simple, selfish reasons and for sake of your kids and future of humanity :-) Enjoy!

And, btw, I assume that EVERYBODY watched these

where Uma Thurman absolutely shine ( or should I say... Kick ASS!!!) :-)

My boss Charlie Kindel got his Kindle first thing in the morning it was out. He was smart: you can not grab this device anymore, at least on the moment of this post writing: it is back ordered. Some of my friends got Sony eBook and some order Kindle in Amazon. You can try your luck if you will follow this link. Hope you will get yours soon.

I tried to get it for my wife birthday, but ... it is so hot you can not expect it overnight... yet.

It is future, 100% and while Amazon managed to produce device that is so freaking ugly compare to my iPhone, it has a killer feature: wireless book delivery. You can get books from hopefully growing Amazon collection on device itself. You do not even need WiFi! It is build in. How cool is that ?

It seems that device is very tough : watch a video about it drop ( follow banner link above it will be down on the Kindle page). Not bad for .com company, right?

All these devices have same e-paper technology : eInk, that is easy to read and does not need energy if you are not flipping pages.

Another cool feature of Kindle is Wikipedia online. That is nice bonus. truly that no other device have. And it is free!

You can get blogs delivered to you device. You have to pay, but that is the price of delivery, still better than cellular internet plan if you just need a few you read normally.

I hope you add my pizza blog to your Kindle :-) Pizza Oven Project Will ya ?!

I love knives and have quite a few. I almost always have some tool on my belt. My Leatherman Wave

is very cool, and default gadget geek tool, but my new Skeletool is even cooler :-). Cool geek always on the search for next cooler gadget! It is now replace my back pocket knife I used to have and abuse opening tough plastic packaging. I saw Skeletool in Wired first and been able to pick up in RAI : they got just CX few days ago and they had 2007 model for a while. CX supposedly better with it 154CM steel, that is very sharp, but regular blade was fine too: it is more about long term use and re- sharpening. CX covered with black and has some carbon fiber insert, that I do not like too much: it is not as hard as metal and you can make your fingernail black if you scratch it: it looks like burned wood ( that I believe what carbon is anyway). Blade is also half serrated (I have mixed feeling about it: it can be handy in emergency, but I like regular blades better)All in all it is a very cool and handy tool, that goes in you jeans pocket ( I use my back one). It is a perfect IT tool: it has a screw driver and wire cutters and pliers: all you relay need in office. Now I do not have to open beer with white board marker or spend five minutes opening unwieldy Wave opener: Skeletool's beer opener simply rulez, dude !!!!

If you are too lazy to go to REI close to your house you can order it online and sure thing Amazon will deliver it to your door steps... very very soon. Here :

Btw, it look like CX is too overpriced on Amazon for some unclear reason. You may check RAI link or do extra search. You should not pay more than 80$ for CX.

If you like a less expensive version that may be even better for you for these three reasons: not serrated blade, all metal and shiny and less expensive, it is the same design otherwise, try this link ( price seems to be OK for regular Skeletool):

When you know very well that being astronaut is super cool you read this:

"Dextre will be flying up aboard Endeavour in pieces, and it will be up to a team of spacewalking astronauts to assemble the 3,400-pound robot and attach it to the outside of the space station. That job will fall to Reisman, Michael Foreman and Richard Linnehan.

"I feel kind of like dad on Christmas Eve, you know, opening up this present and trying to put it together for the son or daughter and going, 'Whoa, what have I gotten myself into here with this 'some assembly required' part of the space station," Foreman said.

WOW! They let you play GIAN Lego too! That is TOO MUCH fun!!!! :-) I envy you guys :-)

Mind you : It is a very expensive Lego set :$200 million! and price of lifting it to orbit is not included :-)

Future is here :-)

iPhone SDK beta is here. A lot of cool staff. I simply love videos and iPhone emulator. While we have to wait with distribution till June, iFund is here and we need some time for development anyway. Web SDK got some cool features like full screen mode and some animations build-in Safari: that both make application look native and cool. Amazingly, SVG support is build in as well. WOW! Not to mention SQL client side: you can use a full blown SQL database to make your application work off line: much better then cookies and not much more difficult to use. Native SDK gives what we expected, you can even play with such cool h/w features as accelerometer as well as get GPS-like location. That is super cool. iPhone is almost full blown OS X: even light version of OpenGL is there ( by light , Apple mean they cut some of an Open GL redundancy) I already started to code my first native application. Compare to WinCE ( and V1.0 of it : I remember to be exited about as well !) it is light years ahead of course: as it should: progress and all these years... but most beautiful thing is iTunes application distribution. That simply rocks!
